Enriching Mt Hawthorn

The Mount Hawthorn Hub is a non profit community organisation for people who enjoy one of Perth’s most evolving cafe strips. Mount Hawthorn is friendly and personal, with its own sense of community and diversity.

The hub brings together local residents, retailers and community groups who want to maintain the unique identity of Mount Hawthorn and make it a welcoming place to live, work and play.

We encourage and promote the diversity, lifestyle and retail environment in Mount Hawthorn by building a unique sense of identity through the organisation of local events, creative projects and streetscape improvements.

The Hub is run by a dedicated bunch of volunteers who live and/or work in Mt Hawthorn.

Have you been to the Kyilla Community Farmers’ Market in North Perth?

The Kyilla Community Farmers’ Market in North Perth is all about bringing the community together & enjoying a healthy lifestyle. Farm-direct seasonal fruit, vegetables, meat & locally produced bread, honey, nuts, flowers & much more. You’ll get to meet the grower and do your weekly grocery shopping whilst you enjoy a morning in the park.
Take home a bounty of fresh produce and treat yourself to freshly brewed coffee and delicious food including gourmet bacon and egg sandwiches.

Every Saturday morning from 8.00am-11.30am at Kyilla Park, Clieveden Street, North Perth

WA Seniors Week -Lunch at The Vines Resort, Thursday 14th Nov 2019

Your morning starts with morning tea on the grounds of Houghton’s Winery.

Enjoy some free time to check out the gift shop, art museum or to purchase some wine.

Then we head to Whistlers Chocolate factory followed by Morish Nuts and the Nougat Factory followed by a tasty 2-course lunch at the Vines Resort.

The next stop will be the new macaron and cake factory at the Maison Saint Honore French Patisserie and the day will be rounded out with some wine tasting at Pinnelli Wines.

Cost is $34 per person.
