Have you heard about "Playing Out"? It's a global movement to take back the streets for our kids and Rae St Leederville is leading the charge in Perth. With support from the City of Vincent, once a month they close the street and let the kids play! Check out this video of what they get up to - and get in touch with them if you want to find out more about doing the same in your street!
Katharina Rae Street is 'Playing out' on the street on the last Sunday of every month. if you live between Loftus, Anzac, Bentham and Richmond come and join us for a neighbourhood BBQ on October 29th 3-5pm and get to know your local community, even if you don't have kids! (Join the Rae Street Play Street FB group for details) If you live outside the area but are interested in Play streets, we'd love to have you along so you can share the concept in your own neighbourhood.
